    Normally there is one roll pin groove/keyway in the shaft but two grooves in the reluctor... So depending on rotation you use the groove with the corresponding arrow... The FBO limiter plates are an easy way to do what I've always done the old school way...

    In case anyone hasn't noticed I'm not a big fan of the Chrysler Electronic Ignition & even less of a Chinese knock off.... Ebooger was a good tech guy back in the day but honestly a lot of his Ebay stuff isn't any better than what every other smuck is pawning off on Ebay....

    They aren't dead center, they are offset, and since big blocks & small blocks rotate in opposite directions they need to be set up based on rotation...

    Try to remember... It actually works & doesn't smell to bad... I often do a double dose... Pour some on, work it in then wait ten minutes & do it again... Skin on my hands rarely cracks anymore....

    And that is a very good point, most people wait until they have a no start to start wiggling hoping to regain spark.. But wiggling while it's running looking for a hiccup is much more effective...

    Actually when you back off the key you cut power to Ign2, when the power is cut the magnetic field collapses which generates a single spark.... Pretty much proving you have power but the module isn't pulsing the negative side of the coil to trigger a spark... That proves there is power and...

    It continues to amaze me how many people experience repeated failures of the MP/Chrysler Electronic Ignition & yet insist on still using it.... Throw that thing away before it strands you in BFE....
