I know a local guy that has close to forty cars stored on pallet racks... Some of the cars are triple stacked.... Lotta 30's & 40-41 Fords but he's also a Mopar guy, has a few Hemi cars including an old "Color Me Gone" race car & easily a dozen Hemis.... Some Studebakers, couple Boat tail Buick...
And your point is? There were column shift Hemi Cuda's & floor shifted six cylinder Dodge Darts... Back in the sixties & seventies if you checked the right boxes, the US auto makers would build you just about anything...
Chase a warranty block all you want, no one who's paying any attention at all will ever believe it is legitimately in the car under a warranty repair... You've posted the VIN and told the story of the original engine being blown up in 1975 by the second owner...
I don't get the impression your...

SPD for all Superbirds is B30 November 30th 1969.... It may have been built late but probably not two months late...
End of the day there is the original engine or there is another engine, I wouldn't get to hung up on it...
And after a quick search it turns out this was the first Superbird so...

JoAnn out of the Bay Area has a EK2 Superbird... I don't recall her name but there's a woman out of Utah? Arizona? who owns a couple SuperBirds & a Hemi Daytona.... Also owns something like 16 Taco Bells so there's plenty of gas to power the cars....
First time I saw the Vega plug used was the Joe Dirt Daytona... The car made an appearance at Spring Fling just before the movie came out.... I thought it was a real car at first... Great Patina, awesome car just to drive around...

I definitely plan on restoring the car best to my abilities. I’ve restored quite a few cars personally so the bird should turn out really good. The plan is to paint the car this winter and have it on the road next summer and once it’s going I plan on taking the car back to the previous owner...
