I bought one of these back in the early eighties... I've used it hundreds of times... There are mich better designs out there these days but I own it & it works fine...
My reply wasn't necessarily aimed at you.... Half the posts above seem to think your either gonna die or at the very least rip you face off.... I've done neither....
I swear, people are scared of every damn thing... Didn't realize this was Karenville..... Man up watch a few videos & get to work... I've done a few dozen, not a big deal if you have average skills and don't do stupid ****...
I got these things cheap & I've been storing them for over a decade... They need a new home... Back when I was looking at building they fit right into my plans & my cheap nature.. But in the end I chickened out & stuck with having my house 100% paid off...
If you were closer I'd hook you up... I have four really clean/complete used roll up doors from a mini storage that was torn down.. They are 5' wide & 80" high... When I was looking at buying property with plans of building a house & shop these fell in my lap... I was planning to have three...
Yeah, hopefully your you yi mo ju chang wheel does what the 3M wheel does... I'm sure it was cheaper.... 3M is kinda proud, but their scotchbrite wheel rocks..
Usually the Hardtop E bodies aren't to bad, especially 440 & Hemi cause they are supposed to get the boxed rocker plates...
My R/T Vert is actually surprisingly stiff... I can open & close both doors at the same time while the car is on a lift... Never any signs of cowl shake when driving on...
If it's mostly parking storage I'd suggest a four post....
Two posts are much better if your working but if your hoping to park a second car under the one in the air realize the suspension is hanging at full extension so the car underneath needs to be fairly short...
That is probably intended for use on a mill... If your a total MacGyver type you could use it in a lathe but doing so would require creative fixturing... It would be cheaper & easier to have a shop that does re-splining take care of it for you....
