I just searched Hemi Dome air cleaner, never noticed that before.. Looks like some have a little more taper but not as much as I would think it should have..
My hemi was a 71 so it had the oval style air cleaner... Sure seems like that design it blocking a lot of air...
I would be concerned about how much airflow is effected by your drop base design.... It looks like most of the element is blocked... I would at least try modifying the sides to taper down to expose more element to airflow...
Typically screws of that design used on Mopars attach C pillar trim or some other trim... Lotta 66 & 67 guys here, I'm sure your answer will be along soon..
Who ever made that tool is brilliant, it gives you leverage but is small enough for the space you have to work in, it gives you a way to pull the lock out of it's hole... Just a great tool for what can be a dangerous job.. It was easy when I was younger but now I get hurt easier & heal much...
There are plenty of really cheap ones... I use the milodon 30761 because it's well made... I also use a Melling 63-S3 pickup tube and this Summit Racing SUM-G2339 Summit Racing™ Molded Gasket Windage Trays | Summit Racing
All the front sheet metal & the deck lid interchange.. Windshield stuff doesn't, the four door glass is more upright, the two door glass is laid back a little..
Not much metal was reproduced for the 66-67...
the tank is intended for efi so the supply and return connections are both 1/4" npt, if I were using it the efi pump is rated at 340 lph at 60 psi..
Instead currently I am drawing fuel through the return side which I modified to draw from the bottom of the tank and have the pump discharge plugged...
I installed an EFI tank in my Challenger 5-6 years ago, the first sender was a float type and was as shitty as the typical repos... But then I heard about the floatless style senders... Bought one & it was nearly spot on out of the box....
I recently got another old car back & early on...
