    Shop vacs

Can I ask why you won’t buy craftsmen, I never had an issue with them. When I run out to the garage I’ll see what brand mine is I got for Christmas, it’s nothing special but does what I need it to do including blow out my pool lines for closing.

    Harbor Freight JUNK!

In my opinion the only thing they’re good for really is hand tools. You can’t beat the price and lifetime no questions asked warranty on Pittsburgh brand. Ya it’s made in Taiwan but for the money it can’t be beat. I’d love to have all snap on or Mac tools but there’s no way I could afford it.

    Harbor Freight JUNK!

Ya HF is only good for a select few things. I bought an angle grinder and die grinder from there, using the 25% off coupon I think I paid maybe $20 for both? I remember the angle grinder was under 10 bucks. I bought them fully expecting them to not last long, I’ve only used the die grinder once...

    Valve Spring Compressing Tool

Is the bottom of the clamp the normal piece that you see on a c clamp? If so I’d put a rag there or something so you don’t score the aluminum. Also, are you swapping valve springs in your living room lol

Choosing Your First Battery Impact Wrench for Automotive Work

Cordless 3/8” and 1/2” impact both are IR. When I took the wife’s car in for tires and the mechanic insisted the lugs were seized cuz their best gun(a snap on impact) wouldn’t take them off I pull d the 1/2” out of the back and zipped them off for him. All the techs gathered round to have a...

I bought a flux core welder from Home Depot a few years back it was a simple set up, not much you can mess up. I’d blame the machine

Welding help please. Can't get the machine to start up.

Had a problem with my miller bobcat arc welder, wouldn’t arc on certain heat settings. Opened it up and found some of the contacts to be dirty & loose. Tightened it up and cleaned, worked fine after that.
