I agree as even with everything identical I still have never seen two cars run the same et to the letter. How many beers did he have when he was telling the story ? Not knocking the guy but I don't buy it about the same et's. It just don't happen. It reminds me of a guy who works with my son...
Yes in the winter I have too. When I go racing for the summer I have to drain it as the tracks dont like you using anti-freeze since they say its harder to clean then an oil spill. But Most of my life I just used tap water in the cars I raced and they have always had great looking cooling...
All I can say is I have used tap water all my life in my cars and never have I had any major problems. Sure I guess other water can be better but I have never had a problem with tap water. I use the tap water and green anti-freeze mix and its always been great in my cars. Ron

Nothing wrong with using an electric fan back-up as thats what I do. I use a stock type flex fan and a shroud that I modified to fit as its from a Dakota V/6 truck. I have an Afco aluminum rad and I have the electric fan in front of the rad as pusher and its on a toggle switch. I dont use it...
I bought this Afco rad from Mancini for my 63 Sport Fury. It was $349. and it comes with brackets on it. They just are not drilled so I just lined it up and then drill the holes. They sell a direct bolt in for $559. and the universal with no brackets for $200. I went with this Afco...
