    Motor and trans are done!!

Wow thats cool we are that close to each other. Let me know if you ever go to Cecil as I like to race there because my brother only lives a few miles from Cecil. And since I drive my car to the track if it would break I could tow it to his house. But my brother races at Atco sometimes in their...

Seen a guy in Md where I live with a setup like your running. He had the 4 coils mounted on the valve covers with brackets he made. If you dont mind me asking since you said its a Holley EFI is it a Holley Controller to work the 8 coil setup ? Thanks for the info and good luck with it as it...

    63 Brake booster ??

Myself I run the stock brake booster in my 63 Sport Fury street/strip car. I have the stock power drum brakes and it still stops ok from 125 mph 1/4 mile blast. They work ok with my solid flat tappet cam. If you click on the link in my sig you can see my booster in some of the eng pics on the...

    63 carb question

Sounds all correct to me. I will say my 83 Ramcharger had a Holley on it that looked all most like the Carter BBD 1-1/4. I forget what year Mopar started using the Holley on the LA 318 as they were never on the Poly as they are to new for that. Also some of the later BBD 1-1/4's also had a...

    Underhood pics

My latest unhood pic as I added the insulation over the fuel line since I drive in very hot weather some times. All the mods I made have stopped the fuel boiling in my carb bowls as it has not happened in the last 4 years since adding the phenolic spacer and heat shield and moving and...

Who has had thier car weighed?

My 63 Sport Fury is a 440/493 with a 727 and 8-3/4 rear. Full stock body car and everything is all there. Still has the heater box in it and all stock glass. I added frame connectors and a 6 point rollbar. With stock gas tank 3/4 full it goes right at 3700 lbs without me in the car. Ron

Alternator Upgrade for my 64' Fury

I use the Power Master one wire Mopar 100 amp alt on my 63. Its actually a Mopar alt that they build with an internal regulator so its just a one wire alt. One thing to remember is that if you have not added any extra electrical items to your car the 100 amp alt will only put out what the car...

    1963 Super Stock Max Wedge....

Not with that 63. Its the FAST class with the 63. 10.30's would be faster then anything ever ran in Pure Stock. But his family has other cars including two I believe 69-1/2 A12 Roadrunners and they may have run one or both of them in Pure Stock. Ron

    1963 Super Stock Max Wedge....

Thats Ed Cooks 63 Plymouth as he runs in the FAST class and it is fast. I saw him run 10.30's. They can do any mods they like in the eng but it has to sound sorta stock and has to look stock as they have to use factory intake and exh manifolds. Its a very good running car as all his Mopars...

    Put headlites on relays.

I did not use a kit as I have some relays around that I saved from my years as a tech at the Dodge dealer so I used my own relays and wiring. But its actually very easy to wire relays into the headlite system. Basically you can do what I did which is cut the wire harness open just before it...
