I might have posted before. AMD gave me the thickness of their W/S. It is thicker than the PPG W/S. Should seal easier. I purchased a Precision Gasket. Still have to install it.
Looks like this might be one place where we have a little better pricing on things.
I am trying a Precision gasket. Just for the record, AMD’s w/s are thicker than the ones from offshore. I called them and they measured the thickness.
Then I measured mine and it is thinner.
The General did that with the wiring on 76 Blazers for taillights . Stones from the drivers side front wheel, cut the wires to the taillights. Worked on that until 1:00 am and left on a trip at 6:00am.
Set the clip in the trough, see if it is correct in height, mark the hole and drill it. Maybe someone can tell you how many clips are used in each location.
When we were doing our car, I called the. PPG representative, who sent the code to the painter. He got both 67 and 68 samples made, they are definitely different.
Do you think this might get canned? Why not take it to each other and discuss it?

I think Alberta Plating is still doing a pair of 67 bumpers for about Can 1800.00. Very nice work.
When we bought the Charger in 2004 the bumpers looked nice, still do, hopefully the car will be finished before next summer.
