    Wow, finally found someone who feels exactly as I do. I will walk past 500 perfectly painted, shiny as hell, big money, 2 stage paint jobs, to look at one "derelict" original paint car. I have told anybody that would listen, that " Muscle cars" just don't look right, to me, with 2 stage paint...

    any examples of trunk lid and hood being separated?

    I bought a '67 GTX that someone had already did it to the hood and trunk lid. Whole car was lightened every way possible (lexan windows, light door panels, VW gas tank, etc ). I actually did the hood on a Valiant myself to lighten it because it was a pin on, so I could easily take it off myself.

    You're welcome. Works best if you roll window up tight after glueing and leave it up for 24 hrs.

    3M Channel Bond, part #08641, if you need to glue glass into steel/plastic channel. Hard to beat this stuff.
