    If you do end up with a non-original column it might be worth getting a collapsible one while you're at it. I often wonder where the fixed column in mine would end up in a crash - probably in my head!

    The LA timing covers will fit if you don't have any joy tracking one down. There is just one less bolt hole so it needs to be plugged in the block.
