How handy are you? Perhaps you could do all the legwork (remove old heater box, install new, bolt on compressor etc and let the AC shop run the lines, electrical connections and charge system? Might save a couple of grand.
Well that sucks! Can you delete the H-Pipe and then cut/angle the pipes just down from the headpipe on each side to bring the exhaust out slightly and clear the driveshaft?

I say pay the extra - it looks better and unless you specifically need the extra money, just spend it. The car is a keeper, you'll regret it down the line.

I've got a basic drum to disc kit from PST (Leed brakes) and they work great. Way cheaper than the Wilwood stuff and you can't see them anyway behind the Magnum 500s. You only need Wilwood if you have fancy open spoke rims or are a serious racer.
