1967 Charger K member with skid plate?

I guess I'd agree with that.

1967 Charger K member with skid plate?

Doesn't look like the few factory plates I've seen. Factory used them to protect the slightly deeper Hemi pan.

Anybody use Moroso 62192 degree wheel

Good description. I learned early that checking the intake centerline was worth the effort. Had couple cams that were off a couple degrees from the card. Also had one timing set that was easy to get one tooth off, checking centerline shows that real clear.

Anybody use Moroso 62192 degree wheel

I have an 11" Jegs version, for the few times I use it. Bigger would be easier to read(slightly more accurate).

    Fiberglass Hemi hood scoop

67Mopar, is that Sled City mounting arrangement for the scoop, or your work? Just curious. Air dam sure looks cool!

    Fiberglass Hemi hood scoop

Glad to hear Sled City has been a viable, quality option lately. My AAR scoop & hood are about as stout as anything I can imagine. Hood/scoop (hinge type) is not lite, but sure is stout. FYI

    Fiberglass Hemi hood scoop

Are you referring to me? Larry replied to my post yesterday about one he has on eBay and others with different heights that he has available. I'm still deciding which scoop I want to go with when I decide to buy one I will contact them Sorry, not you, I was referring to "glassman"/sled city...

    Fiberglass Hemi hood scoop

I got an AAR version for my '66 Satellite. Great product, not the cheapest, not most expensive. EXCELLENT quality, timely delivery. Larry tried for over two weeks to contact you, no results. Others seem to have had better luck. May try again if I want more glass.

    Carb frustration

Ya, the stock intake was not made for the bigger carbs. Even with the spacer, you have the sharp edge of the stock manifold that screws up the airflow. A possible fix is to pull the intake manifold & grind a radius to open up the throttle blade area to accept the larger throttle blades if you...

    a couple questions..

My 70 Barracuda 383 (originally 2 BBL, modified to alum intake & 780 Holley) developed oil consumption issues. I'm sure due to my abusive driving. Took it to the dealer before the 50,000 mile warranty was up, they found the stock valve seals cracked on numerous valves. Oil leaks into the...

    Timing?

No for your application you don't want full advance at idle, for what you've got 34 ish at 2500-3000 seems more like it. My all in at idle setup is for BIG camshaft, high compression race style motor. Also the service manual advance numbers are a bit confusing. They are listing the mechanical...

    Timing?

Just an FYI "back in the day" on my street low compression 383 I worked with the local Mopar carb & ignition guru on my distributor. We brazed up the stock mechanical advance slots and used lighter springs. No vacum advance. Set total at 35* - 36* with static about 10* in order to get the 35*...

    six pack?

Six Paks are really neat & fun once you figure them out. I only had mine on a drag car so much different than any street application. "In the day" they got way too much bad rep because folks didn't understand them at all. Most all of the street drivability issues were the simple fix of...

    six pack?

With the exception of the 69 1/2 original 6 Pak or 6 Barrel products. The early year factory race cars also had non iron intakes.

    six pack?

Be sure to check the height of the Performer RPM intake to see if it fits under the hood.

    six pack?

Six Paks are interesting. Make good power & are neat looking. Finding good used carbs may be a problem. Check with the 6 Pak experts. Far as I can tell new carbs are expensive. The system does work with a little tuning. Main thing I found with my OEM carbs was the end carb idle screws needed to...

    How much trans oil?

do you mean manual transmission (MT)??? 727 is an automatic. If yours is a 4 speed manual A-833 the gear oil capacity is 8 1/2 pints , 4 1/4 quarts, about 4 liters.
