Regardless of your choice of supplier, replacing 56-year-old harnesses should be at the top of your list.... cheap insurance IMO. I know a guy who cut that corner and paid dearly for that decision.
I got mine from Herbs Parts, (Charger specialties) #CS305. The first set I bought had some issues, sent them back and they just replaced the kit with their new version even though I had bought the kit several years ago. Great people to work with.
Kinda had the same issue with mine, one would hold vacuum the other not so much. Checked the prices of replacing both since they were over 50 years old and choked on the price. Which is why I went with the electronic conversion, cheaper and no lazy eye when they open.
Well worth the money if you didn't tear down the car yourself.. helps keep out the guess work. I use mine as reference every time I start bolting on stuff.

Pretty much all the fasteners on the car are stainless steel now, especially the fasteners that are visible. The car's modifications are mostly bolt on goodies, nothing a MoPar purest would have a duck fit about... still have all the stock stuff, tin, drum brakes, suspension, manifolds etc. if...
Dang I had zero issues with mine, fit like a glove without having to beat on the pipes for clearance, that's a large bag of suck that you had to resort to bashing making them fit plus re-coating..
Wow 2" tubes are probably going to be a tight fit. My 1 7/8 tubes take up a lot of real estate and make plug changes a little challenging I couldn't imagine what 2" would be like. Would be interested how that works out for you brother
Since I already own a 68 RT I'm loving the high prices but for someone on the hunt it's gotta suck looking at these prices. I've seen rolling buckets of **** less engine/trans. going for crazy money. Just looking at the pics I have to agree with most here 25 to 30 may get you the car but you...
