Were you planning to run it from the tank to the engine bay? If so I would use some loop clamps to support the hose. I personally opted for hard lines from tank to engine bay using only short lengths of SS braided PTFE for the connection points, but that's just me cuz I'm scared to death of fuel...
IF your going to spend the time painting up the engine bay then I would suggest bringing it in from the bottom, less likely to scratch up that fresh paint and you can assemble a lot more of the engine/suspension before hand before install.
Sorry bro but I put one on my 73 Charger and worked fine.. I dont know what to tell ya other than what I have from experience, this was back around 2006. In all honesty I never cared for that style of coupling
Total break down of the steering column in my 68 Charger RT floor shift. I don't know why mine has all the tubes in it and yours doesn't, maybe mine was an earlier build.. just strange.

This is a console shift column, they are the same up to the point that the intermediate shaft is now a shifter shaft. The end of the intermediate shaft will have provisions for the trans linkage.
Not big on the post 70-71 Challengers but that's just me. 72 and later were geldings compared to the older brothers but this has promise .
If this cleans up like the pictures from 3 years ago, runs and drives, 20-25 grand. If it needs any body, paint, interior or drive train work the...
If your motor was built with a high pressure pump instead of a high volume pump this could be the reason for the high pressure issue. If you don't want to replace your pump you can access the oil pump pressure regulator spring and replace it with a lower spring rate.
