    Fuel lines supplementary questions

Were you planning to run it from the tank to the engine bay? If so I would use some loop clamps to support the hose. I personally opted for hard lines from tank to engine bay using only short lengths of SS braided PTFE for the connection points, but that's just me cuz I'm scared to death of fuel...

Out the top or through the bottom? 400CI 74RR

IF your going to spend the time painting up the engine bay then I would suggest bringing it in from the bottom, less likely to scratch up that fresh paint and you can assemble a lot more of the engine/suspension before hand before install.

    Just bought a 71 Charger... going to a 5.7 I think

I like the G3 engines. The 5.7 has some respectable balls, 400hp stock so there's that, along with the weight saving's it's hard to find much negative with this combo.

    Steering Column Help!

The pics are of my 68 Charger RT, floor shift column. The column consists of a outer "housing" then the transmission "selector tube" then the actual "steering shaft" I have a crappy pic of a 72 column but I think you can see the selector tube well enough.

    High oil pressure

If your motor was built with a high pressure pump instead of a high volume pump this could be the reason for the high pressure issue. If you don't want to replace your pump you can access the oil pump pressure regulator spring and replace it with a lower spring rate.
