    Oil filter question

    I usually buy Wix plastic fuel filters that I like and were made in Russia but now the same part number comes in the filter is smaller and made in China. For oil filters Ive had several Bosch 3500s I bought years ago. Seem to keep the 383 alive for now. Made in USA.

    I used Driven 5w30 for break in then switched to VR1 10w30. Cam is still alive!

    No IR or real guage yet just vague original one. Im only messing with this because the other night after tuning and driving around I realized the coolant was real real low from my doing, not a leak. Truck never gave me any indication it had overheated but who knows. Ill just use the 195 for now...

    My 77 truck has a slant 6 that runs and drives great but i dont think the 195 thermostat opens at all. Tried 2 195s that tested well in kitchen.
