Nice, I wouldn't complain! After 4 years you start living on borrowed time with batteries, my old Caravan I went through 3 batteries in 28 years so I can't complain.
I've had problems with those, when through 4 of them before upgrading! You may just have to use the newer style VR's, read towards the bottom of the page. Good Luck

I have a similar but different issue with mine. One brake light is out on one side, the signal on the other side is inop while the dash light for the working signal is inop. All blubs work! Studying the wiring schematic, everything goes back to the signal switch.

I needed a new switch in a 69 A100 van, looking at replacements from the part store, they all seem to be the same part, regardless of model & year Mopar. Might as well get a new one and call it a day. Good Luck

People say this **** all the time, weather it's cable, wires, or hoses, thinking that it's not the problem when in actuality it is! Just cause something looks good doesn't mean it is!
I take you don't have another known to be good alt. that you can swap out? How many amps do you need or want? You might have great luck going to the bone yard and get one and be done with it? Just spit ballin. Good Luck
