    People say this **** all the time, weather it's cable, wires, or hoses, thinking that it's not the problem when in actuality it is! Just cause something looks good doesn't mean it is!

    I take you don't have another known to be good alt. that you can swap out? How many amps do you need or want? You might have great luck going to the bone yard and get one and be done with it? Just spit ballin. Good Luck
