If the car had add on a/c, the car would have most likely only had the 22" radiator. You do need additional radiator capacity when you have a hot a/c condensor in front of radiator.

Sounds like a speed sensor, car could have had aftermarket cruise control previously.

I have thought about going that route on my standard valance using a AMD 71 valance and cutting/welding the exhaust tip openings to the 72 valance.

I have a 72 Roadrunner grill to repaint also, so I just did a search to find and buy the SEM 39023 paint while the getting is still good.

Sometimes what helps is to add a drop of solder the the tip of the bulb so it makes contact with wire.

Does anyone know if the Windsor plant put the decal codes on the fender tag? My 72 has the over the roof strobe stripe but not coded on tag.

Maybe the dash frame got replaced for some reason. Original may have been hacked up.

You will need the contoured edge around the plate for strength or else it will bend and break at your weld area.

Same deal for chargers, just different patterns. 71 GTX had different door panels with wood grain. Some thing to just research and study to figure out which interior code you have on fender tag and how it is suppose to be on your car.

As both your pictures indicate, one is deluxe bucket seat interior, the other is standard bench seat interior.

You just have to ask for the VIN number. Fifth digit will be a U for 440 GTX car.

I am loving the B5 blue inside and out 440 roadrunner. It is just the car I would tackle. I'm not all that concerned about cost of repair. I like to restore and preserve these cars. I know cost to value isn't there, but you also lose when buying a new car also after seeing depreciation.
