Nice car with great color combo. My car is somewhat the same but with white top and a 500 not an R/T.
Heater box was hell to rebuild. The said thing is that the car is not finished. Divorse will always kill the bank account.
Had to stop in 2016 with the work. Here is were I am at now. Car is...
Yes, convertibles have torque boxes. I think that the shop will remove the top before they work on the dutch man panel,
i would hope. They dont want to replace the top if it is damaged. Ask them. If you remove the top then your going to spend the time lining things back up. Let them re and re...
Well i have had no time to post pics of my restoration in a long time. As stated above, she is being replaced. Could not work on car due to a war with her. Now i can get back at finishing my car. It cost me $230,000.00 k to make her go away. AAHHH!
Well in most cases i try not to repaint. Send stuff out to get replated like Cadiam, Zinc, things like that but bare steel i dont want to rust so all i can do is paint POR 15 bare steel paint. I try to keep it some what original but when you replace floor pans and other major parts, keeping...
The first and last F N AC i will ever do. Pain in the *** to line everything up to install the AC box, then try to not scratch or chip any of the paint and parts. Here is some before and after pics.
Finally the fun stuff. Installing parts. This stuff keeps you motivated to keep going. Lots of people get half way on there projects and then let it sit and give up or have no time. Lots of cooled beer in the restore process works well..
I think next time i buy a car done. This is taking along time to restore. I will be 90 before i can drive this. Good thing i have cold beer to keep me motivated.
Great car. Looks like what i had to start with. My floor and trunk were gone. Had to change everything you are changing.
Take a look at what i got going. My is in paint and started assembly. :occasion14:
You know how many beers this took to complete..:icon_hang::icon_hang: I took the slow road. No painting involved.. Am i stupid or what. Painting parts is faster.
Well 8 months after i got it home i finally have time to get back on it. Finished AC heater box. ( Will never do again) And started getting front end going.
The vacuum pods were a bitch to get the proper look without painting them.
Well i got a unexpected package today. The guy with the 69 rag sent me pics of his car and copys of all his paper work on his car. WOW. 69coronetrt here is a pic of the Galen report. Not sure if you have this in your data base.
Ron 73 - How i can across this car is that i am running an ad on craigslist in the town my ragtop was ordered.
I was trying to see if someone had info on my car or info from an original owner.
A guy emails me and say he just happen to come across my ad and says he has a 69 coronet 500 383 4...

I called down to Waco dodge in 2008. I wanted to see if they would snoop around and see if there might be any paper work for this car. Think it might have been ordered. Anyways they did not want nothing to do with me unless i was buying a car from them.. Some dealerships from what i have been...
