The harness is my 70 Charger was butchered, I bought the M&H from Year One, was worth the investment for me. Very happy w/ it so far and might buy a few more for my other cars.

Have you replaced the p.u. in the distributor? Mine was heating up and dying in my 70 Charger, replaced everything else before I tried that, good luck.

I had a similar issue and it was the reluctor pick up in the distributor heating up and dying. You might want to swap it out to eliminate that as a possible culprit. Good luck

Sometimes the reluctor pickup cuts out when hot, I would try another distributor if you have one.

I did the year one/m&h dash harness, worked out well. I am driving it and will replace the engine harness as well as the light harnesses over the winter w/ the M&H (so it all works together well). So yes, you can do 1 harness at a time. It adds up to a chunk of change but better than a wiring...
