Ok sorry I didn't read your post correctly. That said, I think that the K frame is the same between big blocks and small blocks with the difference being in the mounts themselves. I could be wrong but it doesn't seem to make sense that there would be 2 different K frames but I could be wrong...

Well a quick google search says that a DD will work with a GPS speedo with their adapter (GPS- 50-2). I have a DD cluster going into my 71 Charger and from what I remember it will work with about any speedo system.

I am using a Holley Terminator X (Max), mid plate, intake, 4150 adapter, and oil pan. I don't have the can running yet but I can say that everything fits and seems to work as expected. I really like the mid plate, although not cheap is really well thought out.
I second the recommendation for using the Holley system (Terminator X max), huge amount of online support for them and Holley software is pretty easy to navigate not to mention there are a lot of videos out there.
I do not believe that they do but the trans mount on the cross member is 4 holes so you can easily make or probably buy a mount to fit whatever transmission you want to use.

Can't help with your question other than to say I'd recommend using TTI's motor mounts and not modifying the K frame. I understand the appeal in that I believe USCT says you don't have tp swap the pan but cutting up the K frame does not seem to be a great way to solve this problem.
