    Borgeson steering box

I would also recommend the kit from Bergman. I have bought two of them. Not only will you get everything needed. But if you have questions or any problems. Just call Peter, his customer service is great. Plus BAC is a vendor on FBBO

    Leaf springs

@toolmanmike . I looked in my reactions score. Looks like I accidently gave 14 red x's over the years. Is there a easy way to to find them, to remove them?

    Leaf springs

No problem, there is a little red x on the bottom, you must have pressed it accidently. When you do it means you disagree. Super stock springs are shorter. So you need a longer front hanger. I don't know why only one side. Are both front hangers the same size

    Leaf springs

Wow you red x me too. You made it sound like both springs. Now just one. All I can say is if you have super stock springs you need the longer front hangers.

    Leaf springs

Are you sure you got the right springs. Possibly super stock springs without the correct front hanger

    Caltracs

Had them with the split mono-leafs on my 67. A little stiffer on the street but not too bad. They do work great on the track.

    Borgson steering box question

I forgot you had a 73 you more than likely need this coupler instead I have a 71 so I used the coupler I first poated a picture of. No clearance issues with that coupler and my TTI headers. The fitting adaptors for the hoses you should be able to buy at a local hydraulic hose shop. Take them...

    Borgson steering box question

I agree with Kern Dog. I also got my kit from Bergman. Since you already have the box, you can order the coupler from Bergman.

What does a shop charge for front end rebuild?

At first I thought that was high. But if they are going to disassemble, blast, and powder coat all the parts. Supply the new parts, assemble, and do the alignment. That does not sound bad. Yes you need the steering installed to do the alignment.

Weeping master cylinder cover under gasket

here the napa part number I used. The web site say's same part number for a 1970. Disc front, rear drum. But the price went up since last month. Web site shows $94. I paid $54 last month, but that might be due to I have a commercial account with my local Napa store. I would say try it if it...

Weeping master cylinder cover under gasket

Your master looks the same as mine, when I get home I can send you the part number. I think the new gasket and locking wire fixed it. It was alot harder to get the locking wire on after changing it

Weeping master cylinder cover under gasket

I had the same problem with the master cylinder on my 71. Couldn't find anywhere to buy just the cap and gasket. Went to napa and bought a new master cylinder for about $50. Didn't really want to change the whole master , so I took the new top, gasket, and locking wire and installed it on my...

    greaseable pivot shafts

    Thanks James

    greaseable pivot shafts

Thanks, used the little packet of silicone grease on the bushing and shaft that came in the kit to assemble. Greaseable pivot shafts have a zerk fitting, so you grease them for maintenance along with the rest of the front suspension. What I'm wondering is there a type of grease that can be used...
