Awesome! Don't tell me that's the same Jacket!?!? LOL. Seriously though, love the B1 units, you certainly don't see many in that color. My 72 Satellite started life as a B1 with white vinyl top.
My 72 Plymouth had a B5 interior that I'm restoring back to original. The P.O. had everything in white including the Dash! I ordered the perforated medium blue headliner from yearone and am very pleased with it. Yes it's lighter than the medium blue door panels, but I like the contrast. The...
While these pieces may be on the pricey side, I can say that I've bought a lot of pieces from him over the past 2 years, and they were all very reasonable. Also, he's gone out of his way to send helpful reference pics for some of the pieces I was missing on my dash. For 71-74 B-Body stuff I've...
Is that a B1 blue body with full white Vinyl top? Tough to see the paint from the angle. My ride was born exactly way. Don't see many B1 exteriors, if that is indeed what she is. Either way, nice ride.
Thanks for the information, I was wondering about that label and now it makes sense. Once again this forum has the best folks by far, for all levels of information and detail!
Thanks for the info, I guess that explains why the unit doesn't have the access hole that's drilled and tapped for the set screw. Also explains the video I attached, since he's working on a 1970 model column, albeit an E body, which I assume was the same as the B body. Does the spring and...
I wondered about that when I was doing my conversion, I even emailed Cuda Cody for clarification. While you don't have to have a lock out tube for a floor mounted setup, leaving it out eliminates the "lock-out" feature on the column all together. I went with the example in the Video I...
I just finished this conversion, and personally enjoyed the process. The part fit fine, the only issue I had was mine didn't have an access hole for a set screw that holds the Lockout Tube to the Collar furthest from the steering wheel. I don't think this should be an issue, as you bend over...
And to think all I did was compliment the Backlight Louvers...:drama::lol:
I do agree the factory pieces, and those made by Dayclona, are better looking than the aftermarket ones for sure.
Jerry,
Sorry to hear about your Pops,
I'm very interested in the 72 taillights. Would you be able to send a pic of them for me to inspect?? Thanks,
Rob
I'm running 295/40/ZR 20's in the rear without issue. The 18's up front however, different story as they will rub if I cut it too hard. Not sure about the BS'ing. Just reached out to the previous owner to ask...
Time to keep this thread moving...
My '72 Satellite purchased in February of this year. Made it to Carlisle for the first time in 25 years! Currently finishing up changes to the interior to make it "mine". Back to Bright Blue (B5) on all the panels, carpet & dash pad, keeping the buckets...
