I'm with you on this one if your in a hurry.I like Evapo-rust it's great and only about $10.00 for a liter and works so fast. I did my whole Sundance resto with it even after sandblasting some parts to make sure I get in all the nooks and crannies.I've used Vinegar but did't like the black it...
Our choices here in Canada have been limited due to environmental laws/changes we are having a harder time getting any thing but water born products and any thing that's not water born has gone up in value.Matter of face I bought base clear for my Sundance and then went back to the paint shop...
I use various sizes of brass wire wheels and rose buds on a drill and angle grinder. They are only about $1.00 and don't leave any crud behind that will mess up the paint later.
Wow,,, who did you blow to get that deal??? Just kidding Very nice car 69 RUNNER That's a great deal on the work.........My bud got his 76 Duster done for $1500.00Can but it only had a few scratches and dents..No rust or holes.
Yes it has a Hydraulic clutch.....After crawling all over the truck I found that all 3 have 3:91 sure grips as well,so long story short I'm putting one in my Sundance:) I might also go buy the other 4 D-100's I found on a farm and part them out and keep some suregrips for my self.
Between the 2 parts trucks we have most of the sheet metal we need it's just finding the best way to go at it.
I wish we could just use the Blue truck's cab but if we did it wouldn't really be his dad's old truck any more.
Man oh man the more I look at it the more I think I should just cut the whole front half of the cab off from the top of the windshield rite down to where the fire wall is spot welded to the floor the do the same to the parts truck and weld it back on the yellow truck...Possible?
Hey guy's like always, I opened my big mouth and now I'm fixing a big mess.My father in-law has a '68 D-100,the cab needs loads of work. The truck was left to him when his father past away.So I have to save as much of the cab as possible...I have 2 parts trucks and know of 4 more in my area.Here...
Here are a few pic's of my NOS grill for a 73-74 Satellite/GTX/Roadrunner.....
You should see 3 mounting tabs at each end of the grill closest to where the headlights would be and down close to the bumper....Once you remove the grill you will see how easy it is to install the signal...
I use a wire wheel to get the crusty stuff off then hit it with some Metal conditioner to remove the rust. The Conditioner leaves a film like primer to prevent further rusting then I use meal filler, the same stuff used by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited

The lower the number the higher the gloss....The 20 degree angle is normally used for high gloss surfaces, the 60 degree angle for medium gloss surfaces, and the 85 degree angle for low gloss surfaces. Other angles of measurement are used for specific applications, such as 75 degrees for plastic...
Did the car get new quarters at any time???
It could just be misadjusted....Have a bud get in the trunk with the hinge adjuster bolts loose. Then close the lid with you bud inside then you set the hood in place and have him tighten the bolts when you have it where you like the fit.You should...
Yeah gas isn't the safest thing to use,I just use a fine mist from a spray bottle out side if it did ever catch fire it would go out as fast as it started lol.
