I’m wondering if there’s a 66 seat rail on the inside (adjusted up). And a 67 rail on the outside (non-adjustable) that was too short as the other rail is adjusted high. ????? Hard telling.
I’ve rebuilt a couple sets of 66/67 door hinges with kits from RestoRick which involves drilling/reaming the hinges for over-size hinge pins rather than add bushings. His kits don’t mention earlier years so may not be relevant to the PO question.

I think it’s safe to rule out ivory. You might pull up a couple color selection charts on a tablet, like the one below, and compare to the paint out in natural light. It probably will not be a perfect match but maybe close enough to give you an answer.

The 383 is pretty short stroke and I always figured with good heads and a blue printed bottom end that it would make some good power and revs. But the stock heads on the in the early - mid 60s really hurt their higher end. I can remember how my 64 383 Sport Fury was pretty strong off the line...
I ran around in the late 60s in my 64 black Sport Fury with out wheel covers for a while. Even mounted a pair of 7” slicks on it for a while (stupid kids!). Then I put a set of chrome reverse rims on it until I sold it. I think it looks fine. Kind of wish I had held on to the 64 Soort Fury...
My experience with TTI on my 67 GTX was that the pipes were a bit long and needed a little trimming to position the mufflers and tail pipes correctly but otherwise the alignment was good. Better long than short. Hopefully some hand bending will get them in line.
With any Mettalic, BC/CC is usually advised unless you have a real good spray booth and can lay down paint bug and dust nib free and really smooth. But for solids I’ve used PPG Concept single stage and except for mixing 3 components together vs 2 components and the additional PPE requirements...
Yeah, I forgot about the externally balanced cast cranks in the 70s. Good reminder. But I understand what you are saying about having to mill the flywheel to fit on the crank now - sounds strange, just no clue as to why? Good luck.
I don’t know a lot but I’m pretty sure the max wedge motors were internally balanced like any other 413, 426, or 440.
Im confused by this quote - “(My friend said they had to have the flywheel milled to fit the crank register of the torque converter)”. Did you mean flex plate instead of fly...
Probably been posted about in the past but I hadn’t seen this advertisement before that seemingly was advertising a 1965 street Hemi Dodge Coronet. Or at least it implies it’s suitable for the street whereas the A-990 models were sold with a note, not suitable for highway or general passenger...
I like the M&H dash and engine compartment replacement harness I put in my 66. One thing to remember is all the accessory harnesses don’t come with it and many of them seem to be unobtanium. So save/repair all your radio, heater, AC, clock, etc, as equipped, and note where they are plugged...
