I sort of screwed up ordering a new yoke with my new gear set, thinking the current Richmond set was a 10 spline pinion. Forgot to check the pinion nut size. So $145 lighter for a new yoke, I have a left over, perfectly good pinion yoke. This came off a 489 rear with 29 splines and fits a 7290...

The 372 case is a 307 bearing case late 1966 - 1967. The cast surface, blank ID pad is typical of them In 1967. The only tail housing I found with the dual shifter mounts is C99621 for some 70 B- Body cars andit used the the 308 bearing. That doesn’t seem to be the casting number on the...
