Maybe this is just my way of accepting them a little more but I look back at some of those small defects and it reminds me of the process I went through to restore the car. I can look at certain things and remember either how fun they were or what a pain in the *** they were.

I applaud you for your ability to make that specific of a adjustment. While building mine I had to keep reminding myself that it does not have to be perfect. Finally after soaking my wiper pivot in both degreaser for a few weeks and then a big bowl of vinegar and water it came loose.

It was very heavily rusted on each side/corner near the dash. In general the car had a lot of rust. It was so badly rusted I just tried to get chunks of it cut off the car as I moved along. Most of it had to be ground down where it was spot welded.

Only about two days at this point.
