    I had similar issues on my 67 B. It stemmed from bad bulk head wiring. Was causing me to lose coils and distributors. The coils would get really hot and stop working, let it sit an hour then perfect.

    Going thru my new wiring harness I bought from classic. Looks like it had came with a Bill Evans engine harness. It had added electronic ignition but still had the wiring for a points voltage regulator.

    M&H makes a nice harness, I have no experience with Evans myself.

    There’s a button you push in on the headlight switch and pull out knob and shaft.. You have to push it from the back side of dash.
