You may want to check the pieces you have. They look shorter and a different shape. I think the RR are different due to the longer window but don't quote me on it.
This piece goes under the drip rail trim. The correct screw is the same as the ones that hold on the wheel opening molding...
All I can say is there must be several suppliers out there, some doing it correct, some not. Only 2 screw holes falls into the some not category.
I am posting the link to the ones I have worked with and would buy again. I hope this helps...
I have done several cars now with the reproductions. Yes, they do have to be shaped and manipulated. You will want to verify the screw hole locations as well. I did it prior to paint to avoid damage during the final install. I didn't think it was a big deal. Just my 2 cents.

Remember, human beings installed these stripes by hand. No 2 are the same. You are correct, your Bee is applied high in comparison to others. The real oddity is the stripe is centered around the reflector. Hardly ever happened.

The Performance Car Graphics product is correct as stated above. Not sure of availability moving forward. Stay away from any NOS pieces as they do not separate from the paper due to 50 years of sitting in the box...
It was blacked out for sure. Probably done when the radiator support blackout was done. Not pretty either. Below is what I do. I don't trust doing it freehand so I mask it off.

These were pressed/wedged onto the plastic lens. They are not broken. This is how they look when you forcibly remove them from the lens. I guarantee the lens was damaged when these were taken off.
Below is a link with the details to restore the tail lights on a 1969 Coronet. I hope this...
Bumpers look good. Thickness is OK? Chrome acceptable? I have heard many bad stories about these, but perhaps they have turned the corner with quality. I will give them a try on the next project. Originals are just a pain to deal with and as mentioned very expensive by the time you get them...
It is actually a greenish color if want to be spot on. The top picture shows it if you look through the hasp. The gray you see is the body gasket peeking through on the edges.

The attached picture is from a 5600 mile survivor. Ignore the gold finish, the entire car was Ziebarted. Further below is another without the Zeibart.

This is another survivor without the Ziebart. The tabs of the stripe have crumbled or tore off over time. It should look like the...
The RM21 cars started with very few options with the goal of keeping the cost down. The A87 package would have upgraded you to the post cover trim among other items. Your interior code will tell the story. If it is an M2?, the post will be painted. Any other interior code will have the post...
Assemble the window into the frame before trimming. You may have to move it around a bit for proper fit.
I used the utility knife shown to trim the extra once I was happy with the fit.
