Yea leave the Poly alone, worthless engine, hope no one wants to be build one, which makes mine that much more special. I don't want anyone else to have one, go ahead and get a 360 they are so easy to get parts for...
Nice work! I had mine ported by a race shop as well but the motor has been together so long with the car not ready I don't know all the numbers. Mine is bored .060 over with a 4" Eagle stroker crank.
The Duplicolor Chrysler Red Engine Paint is DE1632 in the rattle can, I just painted my '65 273 with it, I used the Duplicolor engine gray primer first.
The common, and I do mean common, thing to do is trash the Poly and replace it with a:
1. Hemi
2. Max Wedge
3. 440
4. 383
Walk the strip at Carlisle and Columbus, and see all the same cookie cutter solutions to the original Poly power. Funny thing is that I wouldn't trade my Poly for...
I have pics of my 63 Plymouth Poly posted in my photo gallery, 4" stroker, .060 over, 3x2 (Barry Grants) may not get out of it's own way, but I think it has a unique wow factor! With the head work and larger valves it should flow, on paper it should be stout.
Car is a ways off from being ready.
