I’m in the process of getting my Tic Toc Tach hooked up but the shop where my car is doesn’t know where the black wire with a gray tracer goes, any idea? There’s 3 wires, a blue, gray with red tracer and the black wire with gray tracer. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the circuit board conversion necessary if you have the harness and tach adapter or is this a must in order for it to work with the other pieces? The Tach is brand new
