Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Thanks for checking in. No I let that one pass and guess he sold it. Haven't see any ads for the car since. I picked up another 67 RT here in the Texas Hill Country that has good bones. Even though it has a replacement 440 in it, they kept the HP Heads and exhaust Manifolds. Actually just picked...

Found another 67 RT that I'm looking to purchase, wanting feedback

Good morning. It's been a few weeks since I picked up this RT. Running into the details now as far as getting everything hooked up to try and get it running again. Does anyone know where I can locate a copy of the Electrical Diagram/Wiring Diagram for a 67 Coronet that I can print off. I'm going...

Found another 67 RT that I'm looking to purchase, wanting feedback

Good morning everyone. I brought back the 67 RT 2 weeks ago and finally getting a chance to work on it today. It's missing the fuel pump and my question is given that it has a replacement engine G440 (believe it's a 71 440 passenger car engine), trying to figure out what mechanical fuel pump to...

Yes it’s a factory AC car which is a good option here in Tx. Dave, your Polara engine compartment looks great. Russell

That street wedge Polara I found is originally black on black.

Found another 67 RT that I'm looking to purchase, wanting feedback

Thank you all. Good to know about the 67 Block if I decide to get the correct engine at some point. Will just need to make sure it's date coded prior to the car production date. Dave saw your 64 Polara logo also. I found a guy who has a 64 Polara 500 with the original 426 Street wedge and 4spd...

Found another 67 RT that I'm looking to purchase, wanting feedback

Good afternoon, I had looked at a 67 RT a few months ago and decided to pass since the price that was being asked was too high for a car that didn't have the original 440 HP engine. Since then I found another car that I have agreed on a price. It's a WS2 car that was originally red exterior...

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Dave, thanks. I'm just thinking that at some point if I would be wanting to sell the car, it would make a difference in the price. I would consider this a "fair" Condition car according to Hagerty's valuation (has visible flaws, runs fine but could use cosmetic or mechanical attention). For one...

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Thank you for confirming. Given that the engine is not original and the current condition of the car, what would you suggest would be a fair price? I'm thinking $15k but would like to know what you all think.

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Thank you all for your feedback. So since we don't have VIN#'s to verify with the Engine stamps on 67's, would it be a safe assumption to consider this engine to be the original one for this car?

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

My understanding is that the number on the Radiator Support didn't start matching the VIN until 69. If someone knows that one way or the other, please let me know. Thanks

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

The owner cleaned off the block stamp pad. I've attached the photo. Also he included the the body numbers stamped on the Radiator Support. Any help in determining whether or not the engine is original to the car would be appreciated. My son and I are supposed to be leaving tomorrow afternoon to...

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Question, if the Build Date was Nov 22nd then would it make sense that the numbers on the LR of the Engine Stamp should be that day or earlier but should not be later. (ie. 10 23) but should not be 11 23 or 12 23. Let me know if that is correct. I should have the cleaned off photo this evening...

Thanks. I'm going to ask the owner to scrape away the paint and resend a photo of the pad.

Here's the only other one I have of the pad. I couldn't get much off of it. I did see a couple numbers on the lower left corner though.

The Previous owner put an Offenhauser intake on it and painted the engine Red, white, & Blue so I'll need to repaint it back to the original color.
