XV here. Mixed results. Retractors don’t play well with late model seat trim. Retractor forced to angle back so it needs “help every time you try to stow it. A PIA. Unavoidable and no answers. Been in for ten years. Better than the factory 2 piece, and better than lap only.
My trunk floor was worse. Thirty years ago. But, you could still stand on it. Decent integrity. Wire brush and coated with that slop that turns rust black. Spray body color, put the mat down and forgot it. The same today as it was when completed.
I gave up and didn’t have it done. Tried to cheat and get in line early on the phone with $$$ bribe. Didn’t work. No queue til actually received. I’m 65.
Years ago I considered the Sebring seats which had the built in shoulder belt. It got complicated with the inertia, and what controlled it. Short of a roll bar, I’d put in safe, well anchored lap belts only and call it a day.
Carpet I put in 20 years ago from YO looks worse than the original that was replaced. It’s actually through drivers side parking brake vicinity. The passenger side got the fuzzies early on. I’m gonna live with it.
None on ceiling due to decent original headliner here too. Ceiling/roof absolutely need to be done if liner is down. Friend with a ‘Cuda did roof and everything else. Door closes vault like. Just tap on the roof and there is an amazing difference. Heat and sound. I have a gap around...
