There is defiantly a different rubber compound now. One of my parts car has a polyglass tire on it. It has been out in the weather for many years now. And I noticed it is not weather checked and still holds air. All the others on said car are radial and all weathered and all wont hold air.
I recently bought a set of road wheels off craigslist. I bought them site unseen. There in great shape but have no center caps. I looked on the back side of the wheels expecting to find either a ford or mopar stamp. There are no markings so I now assume there after market. So now I am not sure...

MT I have to ask out of curiosity. Have you done any research on your car? Like original owner or where it came from (dealership)? The car I was chasing all these years came from WY and was owned first by a person with the last name Wells. I gave up the chase about a year ago and just bought a...
Mopar Thunder, Totally awesome car!! Is it a true R/T? Is that original color? I am building a tribute 68 R/T as a tribute to my favorite cousin(Who passed away). He had one exactly like that when we were kids. I hunted the car he had for many years with no luck. So I am building one like it...
