Try a different starter.

I used a female spade terminal made for a car radio speaker.

Replace the pickup in the distributor and see if it cures the problem.

I am asking if anyone has put a hei cap on a stock bb distributor. The one with the male hei terminals. If they did where did you get the cap. I found one from Summit! just want to now if there are other choices.

Who makes a hei male distributor cap for a stock electronic distributor Big Block? Part numbers would help and a photo if you have one. Thanks
