Mopar engines always run good. Chrysler was light years ahead of others in engineering. Others couldn’t beat them so they outlawed or handicapped them. New hemis and pentastars are well engineered as well.

I see no mention of Bob Karakasin ( spelled wrong, sorry , Mr Six Pack has his own line of cams... I have one and love it! Highly recommended .. He has a wealth of knowledge and very helpful and was taught by the legendary Tom Hoover and grew from there and is good friends with his son too...

I like a little tin Indian ...421 was pretty torquey, put a Muncie behind it and the 421 will eat the Muncie... I have dads input and cluster gear shaft to show, the case was repaired then finally destroyed. Rock crusher my butt.
I ran an 8.1 in wrecker years ago, it’s pretty decent but dead lug power a Cummins will leave it behind. I’m not a fan of the baby Allision trans. I personally would get something with air brakes and 19.5 wheels and Cummins power , pre emission for reliability ..I’m the last to cave into the...
