    Crucial = Probably not. Just be sure that there is enough extension length. But I run Calvert sourced springs and shocks exclusively on my street cars as well as the race cars. We do not like to lose Street Races = Particularly when there is a chunk of money involved.

    I have used a SMALL (1/2 inch or 1 inch) lowering block on several race cars without any issue for the past 50 years.

    There is an adjuster on end of box where column connects. There is a local shop in my area that rebuilds them for about 1/3 the price.

    Got a question rear leaf springs

    Changing the front spring mt. location changes your instant center and affects how the car leaves the line Drag racing. The back spring hangers mainly affect ride height. Spring tension is not really an issue.

    Check all the rubber lines for ballooning while someone pumps the Master = they are often a problem when car sits awhile!

    It it a high performance car we run Calvert Shocks on the rear Very reasonable and Adjustable. For a road racer Bilsteins are good for the money. You can spend a ton more money for not much more improvement!
