Probably 90% of the line maintenance techs for Delta use their cantilever boxes (called dog houses). They make an angle iron frame and put casters on them and pull them around with a rope.
I'm on my second HF winch. The first one I had (12'000 lb) for close to 20 yrs and was still going strong when I sold the trailer a couple of years ago. Bought a 30' goose neck and mounted another 12,000 lb on it. Pulls my 4010 JD with loader on with no problems.
I'm a bag guy too. Carry one of these small bags for hand tools and 1/4" drive stuff, and a larger one with impact and some 3/8 & 1/2 stuff, hammer, towels, hand cleaner, and assorted parts. I've had that small bag for at least 15 yrs. Use it when I go to the pull-a-part, and even around the...

I have the Lisle set that I got years ago that works pretty good. I worked with a guy that had the Pop-Off set that was almost the same as my Lisle. It worked okay but cost twice as much. He was one of those guys that had one of every tool Pop-Off made. He was always complaining about never...
Here is I hope what you are looking for. The actual lock plate at the post.
The left hand end is 1/2", forgot to write it down.
The short rod is 6 3/8" center to center.
I have a four post and I picked it up from Greg Smith Equipment. They loaded it on my trailer with a forklift and I used an engine hoist to unload it. Picked up one end and slid it to the back of my trailer, then set it on the floor and picked up the other end and drove out from under it. Even a...
In my 40x30x12 I put fiberglass in the sidewalls and I also put white roofing tin in for a ceiling and blew about 8" of cellulose on top of the ceiling. It's easy to heat and cool. I have a 50,000 btu Big Maxx heater that works great and I mounted a 12,000 btu window air cond in the wall and it...
Same thing me and a buddy did while working at the airport in ATL back in the 90s. The company leased an old Eastern airline building and renovated it for our use and threw away a whole dumpster full of 8" fluorescent fixtures. We hauled off 25 lights. Enough to do my shop and his both. I've...
I mounted those LEDs over my work bench about 4 years ago and just leave them on all the time so there is always lights on in my shop. Made no difference in the power usage at all, and have not lost one yet. KOW!!!
JMO but I would put a single row of 8' LEDs about half way up the ceiling on each side from end to end. Would be like daylight in there all the time. I put 2 8' LEDs directly over my work bench and it's like an operating table. Make sure you get LEDs with the frosted diffuser, not the clear...
That's what I did in mine. Put white metal roofing facing down on the trusses and painted the walls white. Turned what was a cave into an operating room. I started with fluorescents but have slowly converted to LEDs. What a difference.
Picked these up from Home Depot. Made to hang from any 2x. They are called rafter hangers. If you have access to the rafters in your shop/building they would work great. I mounted a 2x to the wall spaced out with some osb and they work great. Best thing is they can be moved any time you want...
