Here's a pic of what the 70 Dart looks like.

Is the A Body cluster narrower? In what way are they different? They look exactly the same from the pictures. I'm talking about the 70 Dart. I know on 73 they are different. More like a square than a rectangle.

I am looking at a 1970 Dodge Dart, which is of course an A body. The speedo looks exactly the same as my 69 Roadrunner speedometer and instrument cluster. What is this what Chrysler did back in the day? Did the leftover Roadrunner speedometers for 1969 go in to the 1970 Dodge Dart? Just curious...

Is it easier to remove the lower dash pad first before removing the instrument cluster? 69 RR. I had a hard time last time I pulled a cluster. Seems like the prob is the switch panel that has to be removed first. Removing the lower dash pad would make it easy to get the switch panel off.

I had the same prob in a 69 RR I just bought. There is a guy in Phoenix that has alot from various years. His name is Bob, and he is on Phoenix C List.

On a 1969 Roadrunner, I am replacing the console top. How do you get the console top off of the shifter? The shifter button is too big for the hole in the console top. Do you have to turn the top sideways, then take something off down below? Not sure how this is done. Any help appreciated. Thanks

69 what? RR, Charger? I have a 69 RR, and have had the instrument cluster out for repairs, and re installed it. 1st clue: It aint easy, but if I can be of help, let me know.
