According to the Hayden site the standard duty's run at 60-70%. Heavy Duty's 70-90%, and severe duty's 80-90%. No worries, it was a good learning experience on how fast a person can change out fans.

That really cleaned up the install. Are you gonna paint the brackets body color? What did you use to mount the fan clutch to water pump? Bolts or studs. Installed mine this weekend. Couldn't use bolts, had to use studs. It was a PITA.

The tapped holes in the fan clutch are 5/16-18 not metric.

Got the fan/clutch pulled off last night. Went to screw the old clutch studs into the new fan clutch. Threads are metric on the Jag clutch...who woulda thunk?!?! I'm a dumbass, never thought to grab some metric hardware while I was in town.

Nope not yet. It was 88 ish degrees on the way home from work yesterday. Car was running 210 deg. Hot as its ever run. That clutch better be the ticket or clutch and fan will be in the For Sale section soon. LOL The only studs I could find are too long so they will need to be cut down...

Parts store didn't have a Hayden but had one in a different line. Import Direct, was a little leery. Got the clutch and look whats cast right into the face. I got some 5/16 studs. That should make installation easier.

Cleaned up my used clutch, painted the fan and installed it last night. Drove to work today. Ran noticeably warmer, it was only 70 degrees out. It was up to 200+deg after a short stop in town. Rarely gets 200 unless its 100 deg. Got work and checked the fan, was still free spinning. I...

Looks great! So how far does the fan stick into the shroud? I looked at my fan it is a 216 not a 215. So it's the deeper fan. Bonus.

Something must be off like Meep said. All my experiences with "The Right Stuff" has lead to almost wrecking the part to get it removed. To me that stuff is like welding in a can.
