I ordered a Carter fuel pump rebuild kit from them once, wasn't even close to the right parts. They wouldn't credit me, had to take store credit. Ended up getting a new pump from them, and overpaying. I still buy from them though.
I would do a kit from Manicni Racing, they have one with a Firecore distributor. Firecore makes a great distributor, been running one for 6 years and zero problems. I like the factory style electronic ignition because if something craps out you can find parts at about any parts store. Just...

Your problem could be the motors, limit switches or the control relays behind the glovebox.

Make sure the starter relay is grounded good to the firewall. Check and clean your battery connections. Even if your battery says 12+ volts doesn't mean its good. If possible swap with a known good one.
Don't know what you have now for a Mopar dist. but if you looking to buy I would suggest a Firecore. Easy to adjust the mechanical advance with just two screws. Most of the the Mopar Performance dist do not have an easy way to limit your mechanical advance if you need to.
