I'm a fan of them being a little rough and driven. My '66 is mechanically sound and the interior is nice. No worries about chips, rain, bird poop. Actually I do worry about the rain, wiper pivots...LOL
I had a Torker2 on my '66 Charger with a 440. Used a flat base air cleaner base with a real short filter. Switched to a Performer RPM this spring, which is about .5" taller than a Torker2. Used a Summit brand drop base air cleaner assembly. It came with a 4" filter which didn't fit. Found a...
They sell the stuff at the local John Deere dealers around here. Have heard mixed reviews. You do have to change it out every month or so.
Have also read that real mint extract soaked cotton balls is supposed to work. Was always going to try that but like with everything else I've tried the...
Thanks! Havent had any time to work on the sensor yet. Still trying to get the meter mounted and wired. Taking the car to work and doing the exhaust on the lift.
Anybody here running an AFR meter? How and where are you routing the O2 sensor wiring into the car?

Thanks!

The '70 we are working on has two different doors. The R is what I'm guessing is a '68 and the L is the original. There are some differences like the lock rod hole. The stamping is a little different too.
L '70 door
R non '70 door
You can use a big flat blade screwdriver. Stick it in the distributor slot and turn it counter clockwise and it should slide out of the cam gear. Then use a long needle nose or magnet to pull it out.
There is an article in the new Hot Rod where they talk to someone at Chrysler about the new Hellcat. They did ask about an AWD version and said it aint gonna happen in a Chally. Would require a different floor stamping. Leave the AWD to the Charger Hellcat.
