I'm partial to the Charger. You can fit a 295/50/15 under a Charger without any modifications. Interiors on the Chargers are more unique. In my opinion the '66's are better than the '67's.
Charger is going to be more expensive. The EL dash lights, rotating headlamps are not cheap to fix.

Just saw a really nice '67 383 4spd Belvedere in Wells the Saturday before Easter. Older gentleman, fairly new to the Wells area.

You should be able to hot wire the motors to see if they are good.
Reach in behind the grille and unplug the motor. There is 3 wires on the connector. A ground, one for open and the other for closing. The up and down terminal is ground.

We are in the middle of a '70 resto at the shop I work at. Using AMD sheetmetal. The R qtr panel has been on back order since February. Last I talked to AMD they told me possibly the end of June.
