AMD looking to see who needs 73-74 Roadrunner parts ( possible quarter panels? )

One part I'm sure they could easily tool up & they'd fly off the shelf if they weren't greedy on the price is the rearest crossmember behind the rear bumper. I sourced one from a 73 RR for my 71 Satty. Im sure it's the same from 71-74 & probably fits Charger as well. They repop the end pieces...

    71 satellite tank in a 73

It still has 4 vent lines, they just come out the rear drivers side of the tank. Theres 1 line off a vapor seperator on the shock crossmember that takes the vapors to the engine compartment. You should (at the very least) put a little mini filter on that line, if your not going to plumb it into...

    Rear sway bar

I put an Addco on mine that I got from a fella selling some engine parts I was buying. It was NIB and came with some other parts he acquired but he had no 71-4 B cars. I got it dirt cheap & put it on with no issues but do plan on replacing the mount plates with something heavier before the car...

    71-74 Tach Problem

I'd be interested to see the factory lense and that lense side-by-side. They've sold a lota those tachs and I know they ain't cheep. You can't be the first with this issue. I almost pulled the trigger a few weeks ago. I got other things to buy though...

    Wagon anyone?

Biohazard usually means some type of body fluid, could be human rodent or other animal. I worked in a junkyard when I was a teen that had a section of biohazard vehicles. One of which was the scene of a suicide by gunshot.. I was told to stay away from that section...and I did.

Rear Sway Bar Question. Frame Rail Mounts.

At $40, I'd pick it up & play with it. Any of the components could be modified to make it work. Its N/A in 71 so I assume originality isn't an issue. Any bar mounted geometrically correct will be better than no bar. If you want to add a cheap bar, the link at the bottom is the lowest cost...

Can anyone tell what these holes might have been for?

1 Wild RT is definitely correct. My 73 parts car had the dampening weight. I think I still have it. I assume its to reduce floor vibrations. Its a heavy thing. I'd weld up the holes & move on.

    Aftermarket Gauge Cluster

I just read a members post a month ago who was trying to convert to the Classic Dash. The bezel gave major fitment issues & he ended up converting a stock rallye cluster... It was a long read through all the issues but the fitment problems turned me off on the CD parts... I'm sure the post could...

    71-74 rear frame dimensions

That Hellwig looks like a pretty stout piece! I put an Adco on my 71' only because it was free & new. I have a 73 rail on my passenger side. Drilled 4 holes & it's in.

    Aftermarket Gauge cluster

That looks like it fits like crap... No offense to you. I'm glad I checked back here to see how your coming along at this... You'd think for the $ & the tooling, the manufacturer cud make a better product. I'd be very disappointed(& prolly a little PO) if I had to work with that... My bud had a...

    71er Charger junction roof /body

FWIW, my 71 Satellite had a full vinyl top from the factory & it had lead in both sides seams and a skimcoat of plastic on top...mostly lead though. My seams look identical to yours & I believe the Charger & Ply B's shared the same roof skin in 71. My car was built in St. Louis in February of 71'

    1972/1974 Charger Cannibalization project questions

Not sure this will mean much as far as body goes or not, but its worth noting the complete front subframe & suspension is different from 72 to 74. Might be something to add consideration to the mix.

    Inner Wheel House Flange

Chad, the flap in the pic you have extends over the outer wheelhouse and follows the seams where the 2 WH's are welded. When it gets to that area, the outer WH has a lip that tucks behing the inner WH. The outer WH doesn't shoot straight down. It simply has a lip about 3/4" behind that lip on...

    Inner Wheel House Flange

The lip of the inner wheelhouse is on top of the lip on the outer WH. This is my passenger side. It is finished so its hard to see... Drivers side is the same. I had to peel back the lip on the inner to get the outer apart. I heated the flap that I peeled back on the inner and massaged it back...

    Inner Wheel House Flange

I can get you pics later tonight when I get home from work, about 5 hrs. The inner wheelhouses on both sides have a flange that the outher wheelhouse welds up against(the outers have a flange as well). The ends of the rockers have flanges as well from the top, side & bottom. Thats what the...

Quick question: Can I put on a non-AC water pump pulley to remove the AC compressor?

Curious why you dont just get the 2 groove 440source non-AC crank pulley as well as the mentioned single groove non-AC WP pulley and delete the AC & assorted brackets/idlers? I dont think you'd have to change anything else other than belts. A little shimming to get the alignment maybe but it...

    Weld Thru Primer

I dont really care for copperweld. A quality epoxy primer is just as good IMO. I find it takes the weld easier on initial strike where the copperweld seams to want to sputter. Using copperweld, I have found on spotwelded panels where I'm using my mig, I can use a small wire wheel to clean the...

Converting flat hood to Air Grabber

My car has an original air grabber assembly but not sure the hood was air grabber from the factory or just a satellite hood a PO adapted all the factory AG stuff to... It is entirely disassembled, so if you need dimensions for the holes, let me know... Also, not sure how accurate any of the...
