I think I have 69 headrests on my 70 seats, and they look at least reasonable, but they do not latch. In an accident, I think my head would push them down and they would be of limited use.
I understand why a number of us are interested in these now due to the accident we saw with the GTX. I...
I have to say thank you. You just made me laugh my *** off reading your post.
...I needed it. I have fought with my car to get it ready for the Hot Rod Power Tour (have to leave in 7 days), and I have had a few struggles. Today was a bad day when suddenly my charging system (most likely...
I agree it is all but impossible to put a number on how many remain.
I will say that in all my years of going to the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, I personally have seen few 67 GTXs, and of those, I could count on one hand the number of 4 speeds. By contrast, when I park my Limelight Air Grabber...

Nice car! A buddy of mine has almost the exact same car but it is 881 (metallic blue) instead with a white interior.
The 4 speeds (which got the Dana) seem to be pretty uncommon compared to the automatics. I don't have any official numbers in front of me, but it seems a majority of 67 GTXs were...
I'm in Pennsylvania. I get around! (The picture was from my 2015 trip across country in my 70 Road Runner.)
I'll hopefully do another trip across country in spring of 2022. My second trip across country has now been postponed twice, so I am really focusing on making sure 2022 happens.
