I need a 1966 (one year only) steering column for a Belvedere/Satellite. It has to be a column shift, automatic trans with Power Steering. This particular one must have the shift rod connecting about 1/2 up the column on the outboard side--not at the end of the shaft. I would buy a new one...
I believe you will find that the 66 is a 1-year only column. The 67 is slightly larger (in diameter) and will also collapse. I myself have been looking for a 66 column, column shift with Power Steering.
I have a hood emblem that is PRIMO (unused condition) that says 426. It is from a '67 -- almost the same as the 66. I'll get it out of my goody bag late tonight and post a pic.

I probably have a good used 66, column shift, power steering unit..
ME: I am a little lost on the CM conversion issue, can you please give me a quick tutorial, or....provide me a URL to that one you are referring to? Also...
Hi Everyone,
Long day on the car, but here is my issue of the day.....
I have a 66 Belvedere II, Big Block and my Steering Column is in need of repair. I have a Column Shift and Power Steering. As the steering is sloppy, I was checking the steering coupler for slop & wiggle (YES) as well...
I've had many over the years, but sold all my Gen1 Hemi parts / engines. If you can't find them, contact Hot Hemi Heads in Low Gap, NC.

Looking for a hood for my 66 with a RO scoop.....or perhaps just the RO / WO scoop by itself. 66 & 67 are the same hood. Check you stock and let me know if anyone may have this. Steel or Fiberglass -- either one.
Please send pic and price in a PM.
Thanks
Rick
The ones listed are for both 66 & 67 (they are the same). It came with the adjusting nut and everything. I had to wait a while because I ordered a "426", but could have easily got a 318, 361, 383, etc.
Here is a pic of my 66, and does have a 67 trunk lid installed. As a previous member posted, the trim is different on the 66 vs. 67, so you can see I kept the 67 trim on mine. Some people don't even notice it. But if you are restoring yours to a PURE 66, then the 67 trim would not be...
Hi 5.7 Hemi. Are you saying that you have a water-neck with that port,....or is this a water pump housing? I would really like to just change the water neck (Thermostat housing) only and leave everything else alone. My space is so tight that I would have to start by taking my Champion...
No, no ports on the water pump housing. The only possbilities I have now are the 2 heater hose tits that I have capped off. However, I am a somewhat reluctant to attempt their removal as I'm not sure if they are threaded. Therefore, I thought it would be best to just obtain a water-neck...
Looking for a used Exhaust Gas Analyzer that I can occasionally monitor the air/fuel ratio. I have looked all over various websites, but no-luck in finding a used one that is in decent shape. Does anyone have one that they don't need / want any longer....the one that I can shove the tube up...
I have electric fans that I control with a switch inside my cockpit. I want to have them come when the water reaches the correct temp.....say 180-185. Therefore, I will be installing relays and a temp sensor. However, I need a thermostat housing that has the water port so I can insert the...
