You may need to examine your "steering coupler" to ensure that it was centered correctly. If you have the coupler that I do, those teeth in the coupler may be offset just a little.

In the Mopar numbering scheme......By the number listed, the first "2" would indicate in the 60's, and the next digit --"5" would have it originally designed for 1965. From there, the number scheme may continue for several years following that. It's quite possible that it was carried forward...

I found that Autozone and O'Reilly's must sell Chinese junk. When I replaced mine, I had on hell'va time with the bleeder screws, fitment of the cylinder, etc. I returned them and went to NAPA. Problem solved.

Hi 67 GTX I put a set of Mopar Performance springs on my 66 Belvedere II. Part number is P4452983 and P4452982. You can get them from places such as Summit. Mine rides great and I have no clearance issues. I also run 235x60x15 tires on a 4 corners. Hope this helps.

Andrew, I feel your pain brother. I have a 66 Belvedere II and had the same problem. Nothing could be found....anywhere ! You may need to try challengersteve on this website. He had one (completely rebuilt) on his shelf, and I nabbed it. He has a lot of parts, and can rebuilt one off...

You can do some research here. About a week ago, that very subject came up and some our FBBO members were using Muratic acid / Water (about a 1 to 5 mix), let it set for awhile, and it makes one of the MC covers look like new. Others were using diesel.

Yes, they fit perfectly and with no issues. They are on my 66 Belvedere II.
