Hey Guys , even though, the original temp sending unit is on the driver side of water pump housing, now with aftermarket a/c , what is the view on placement on passenger side, will it still read accurately!
This is a very difficult situation to determine what’s best for you as I’m sure you want the best in your car , guess it depends on to what extent you want your car original! At least that would be a question I would ask myself! In reality, this would be the driving force as to whether I would...
My question is, on the original radiator cap oem , do the little nibs and the overflow tube on cap run totally parallel to the rad or at an angle, pic would be nic ! Thanks
Yes , that’s probably right only option, but some seem to think it’s not necessary, but in FSM section 7 and page 9 states that it’s necessary to keep lower hose from being sucked closed ! Just my opinion of course !
Someone on our site suggested using a yard sprinkler spring , sounded like a workable plan , had an old one on hand and it’s stainless and available, so did a little work on it and installed , very hard material but workable, bent ends in a little so as not puncher hose , now all good !
Sir , my 67 Gtx non factory a/c , I used a 3” fan clutch , Hayden ( Summit ) and oem 18.5” fan , my kit came with a few spacers for clutch to fan , used one problemly 1/8” and not contact at ac clutch and 3/4” from radiator!
No Sir , non a/c originally, the vents are probably typical aftermarket type which gives a double vent in the center and one each side , but will say their appearance is pretty nice, with appropriate appearing plastic chrome , and black surrounds !
