I don't see any reason why you need to go out of state, you should have polishers around you unless you're out in the boonies. If you have trouble finding a "polisher" then just ask chrome shops, they often have an outside polisher.
No, those ET's have painted spokes, not near the same. The TToriginals might have paint. I kind of don't think they have paint. but they are very rough surface, flat color-as cast I suppose.
I have Torq Thrust originals, old ones that are USA made and are wonderful EXCEPT 15x7 is the widest with a back space that will fit my car. If I go to the TT orig 8.5" the back spacing would require a shortened rear end. The Vintage wheels have the necessary 4.5" back space in a 8" wheel which...
Very long shot. Looking for a pair of Vintage Wheel Works 15x8 VN45, 4.5" back space 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern. Not to be confused with American Racing Torq Thrust
I would drive the car with the poly glass first, then decide if I didn't like them. I've back to backed cars with bias-radial and didn't find that much difference. But I just drive on decent highways and streets
Readily available on Ebay. You need to measure the length of the shank to get correct shank nuts. Here's some with 3/4" long shank:

.005 is a little on the small end .012 is a good figure, roughly. The problem is you have to make everything work, knurl dia, shoulder ht, length of threads. You can't always find the exact right ones. It's common to get everything as needed but have the knurl too large so it's time to drill out...
It is way better cost a little more but has way more which made it a great bargain, couldn't be happier, well a 4 speed would have been the ultimate for me.
