I have several carbide bits for my 4A 1/4” shank die grinder. One is a very high quality cobalt bit. Neither chew aluminum as they do steel! It looks like some helical designs might be better suited for Aluminum?
So what do you guys use to chew aluminum if not these?
Well I just called Jiffy Lube and they said they would take it! This is a great thing. I don’t know if they will charge me but a least someone will take it! We all have a Jiffy Lube somewhere near us!
Mine are black. Dimensionally the same within a few thou. Use the 0.125 pin same as the original as seen in the picture. See the crack in the original? Thats where the stress is. It’s an interference fit for the pin. Same depth so they mate properly.
Good story! Your lucky! Nice Avenger! That bomb bay with a fish inside was a sweet design. The A26 was I believe the only bomber to be designated as an attack aircraft. It was based off the Mitchel I think. Had loads of 50 cals in it as well.

Guys if your doing it to make money unless you have real volume like thousands, it ain’t worth the time. On the other hand if you want to wear your own designs and sell a few then more to you. If you want to use copyrighted material don’t bother.
