    Got it thank you!

Makes sense! Is that the only issue from using the same source or is there a pressure issue as well with sharing?

Excellent input regarding the PCV offset to the carburetor! I didn’t think of that! Thats very insightful! Is the PVC source on the carb the same as in the manifold?

Sooooo I was wondering if there is any downfall in using a vacuum canister connected to the manifold then out to the brake booster AND the PCV with proper check valves in line. Would this help alleviate the concern that folks have when using a T from a single manifold source (ie from the source...

Well if the government and @pnora thinks it’s right thats good enough for me. No need to discuss this any further then :).

I am not sure why you believe I have my mind made up nor why you think I am beating anyone up. We are having a respectful conversation and I am trying to better understand this system. I’ve been and will continue to be respectful here. Just was clarifying what I was saying.

You did not take my comment into context mate. In fact you only took part of my sentence. What I actually said was: “Why evacuate contaminants from the crankcase then shove them into the intake” If it helps to positively draw moisture and contamination out of the crankcase and this is why you...

So are you saying here that this system is only for environmental purposes?

I am referring to this… Contaminated air being drawn from the crankcase into the intake. Why evacuate contaminants from the crankcase then shove them into the intake whats the benefit other than re-burning for better emissions (which I put a caveat for up front).

Wondering how that can help. The pressure differential between the crankcase and the cylinder is huge….

What about gumming up the valves with the crap that you’re trying to expel from the crank case?

So I have read threads here and other sites regarding the value of the PCV system BUT I am not convinced or don’t fully understand the value for me in my application. Caveat, the environmental factors are not a consideration here. It seems the main value proposition of the PCV is that it aids...

What does RB stand for on a 440?

Thanks so the intakes are not compatible from a 383 to 440 and the 440 requires a “RB” intake?

    Does that software estimate vacuum?

    Lobe separation and vacuum

Got it so the overlap doesn’t have enough time to build vacuum. Makes sense thanks! Been looking at LSA vs HP and TQ and see the trade offs there just couldn’t find one comparing vacuum at idle. Is there a way to calculate LSA based on performance? Ot is that not possible? I don’t have any cam...

Fouling Plugs ring issue or compression issue?

This was after about a 25 minute run around town. Thought I’d throw it up for you guys to look at maybe someone’s better at reading a plug than me not sure if you can tell if it’s carbon fuel or oil etc. I am not burning oil and at 140 PSI like others have said should be fail to run. And in fact...
